Song of the day: Regina Spektor - All The Rowboats
I have never been a fan of Regina Specktor but when this song came on I suddenly paid attention. Peddling an earthy urgency that Tori Amos has long lost, this is a endlessly gorgeous. Strangely, it sounds better when you're not watching the video.

Always liked Regina, never loved her. I mean, sure, she's got those Russian looks that I'm always a sucker for, and her songs are catchy pop singles, but there's not enough to really catch me. Still, better than Tori Amos who, no matter what she does, seems like a dumbed-down version of something better. So, yes, I dig it, but no more so than any of Regina's other songs....
